The Startup Challenge – Fall 2026

Could you build a business with $5,000 or less?
In The Startup Challenge, students spend six weeks turning a business idea into a plan that could actually work.
Starting with a problem they see in their school, community, everyday life, or the world around them, students will work through the real decisions entrepreneurs face. Each week focuses on a different part of building a business—from finding the opportunity and understanding customers to finances, branding, marketing, sales, operations, and goal-setting. Students will tackle hands-on challenges, make decisions with limited resources, and build their own business plan along the way.
The program wraps up with students bringing everything together into a one-page business plan and short business pitch.
No business experience is required—just an idea, curiosity, and a willingness to build.
