2026 Summer Camp at the Student Union

Our 2026 Summer Camp is made just for teens with experiences that will help them grow all summer long. Classes run 9:00AM – 4:30PM each day. Cost is $75/week for Student Union Members, and $125/week for Non Members. Register today!
WEEK 1 | Wellness with Valley Health
- Dates: Tuesday, June 2 – Friday, June 5 *Short Week*
- Partners: Valley Health
Students explore careers in healthcare and learn the foundations of wellness during Valley Health Wellness Week. Through guided visits to Valley Health, participants will tour different departments, meet healthcare professionals, and gain insight into how a hospital system supports community health. The week places a strong emphasis on nutrition, healthy habits, and overall well-being, helping students understand how lifestyle choices impact physical and mental health. This experience encourages curiosity, confidence, and awareness of future career pathways in the health field.
WEEK 2 | Content Creators
- Dates: Monday, June 8 – Friday, June 12
- Partners: Leah Faith Photography, Hustle Productions
Students begin the week with a Social Media Safety workshop led by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, then jump into creating videos, learning basic editing, exploring podcasting and photography, and discovering branding and marketing. A fun, hands-on week building digital skills, creativity, and confidence.
WEEK 3 | Art Without Rules
- Dates: Monday, June 15 – Thursday, June 18 *Short Week*
Students express themselves through street art styles, mixed media, DIY merch, and collaborative projects, including creating a new Student Union Mural. This week encourages creativity, confidence, and personal expression in a supportive space.
WEEK 4 | Culinary Camp
- Dates: Monday, June 22 – Friday, June 26 (No Camp on Thursday, June 25th)
- Partners: Chef Devin and Chef Joe
Students explore the exciting world of food and cooking through hands-on culinary experiences in the Flavor Lab. Throughout the week, participants learn essential kitchen skills, experiment with flavors, and prepare a variety of dishes while working collaboratively in a fun, supportive environment. This culinary-focused week emphasizes creativity, teamwork, and confidence-building as students discover how food connects to culture, health, and everyday life.
WEEK 5 | Summer Survival
- Dates: Monday, June 29 – Thursday, July 2
- Partners: Shenandoah National Park
Students develop essential outdoor skills including shelter building, hiking, canoeing, and campfire cooking through hands-on experiences in partnership with the National Park. This adventure-based week takes place inside the park and includes guided hikes, service projects, and ranger-led programs. The experience emphasizes teamwork, leadership, and resilience while helping students build a meaningful connection with nature and conservation.
WEEK 6 | Money Making Moves
- Dates: Monday, July 6 – Friday, July 10
- Partners: Navy Federal
Students explore Teen Entrepreneurship through budgeting games, side hustle ideas, pricing challenges, and mock Shark Tank. Participants will design their own product or service while learning real-world money skills.
WEEK 7 | ACE Camp
- Dates: Monday, July 13 – Friday, July 17
- Partners: David Hubbard
In the Aviation Career Education (ACE) Camp, students explore a STEM-based educational experience with field trips and hands-on activities, as an introduction to the exciting field of aviation.
WEEK 8 | CSI
- Dates: Monday, July 20 – Friday, July 24
- Partners: Warren County Sheriff’s Department
Students step into the world of Crime Scene Investigation with hands-on activities led by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office. Participants will learn basic forensic techniques, practice evidence collection, and work as a team to solve mock cases. This interactive week builds critical thinking skills, problem-solving skills, and teamwork while giving students a real-world look at careers in law enforcement and forensic science.

Applications must be submitted by the first day of camp to attend at the discounted rate. Costs are $25/yr for Warren County residents and $75/yr for non-Warren residents. Sponsorships available. Please email studentunion@reachingoutnow.org for more info.
